THE RETURN OF THE RAY!
Developed simultaneously with our Falcon Slalom boards, the Ray´s are the fastest Freerace boards we´ve ever made. Even our race team could be seen eyeing these shapes enviously during the R&D process. As the Slalom discipline has grown, more and more people have been attracted to modern Slalom boards. However not everyone has the skills to ride a high performance slalom board - so Sebastian and his team took all the positive aspects learnt from our Falcon development, combined some of our Freeride features from his vast CAD data base and created the Ray line.
The 4 Ray´s have exactly the same volumes as the new Falcons, but slightly narrower centres and tails, with fuller rails for control, comfort and excellent jibing abilities. Combined with our legendary Falcon rocker line, the Ray is the dream board for anyone looking to go fast, easily. But don´t be fooled into thinking these boards have less performance because they are easy to sail, they are high performance machines!

TREND SETTING PERFORMANCE!
The new Falcon‘s are totally balanced shapes in terms of width/outline/thickness and volume, ending the era of super wide and thin Slalom boards. A new trend is set, introducing easier to sail high performance Slalom boards!
The slightly narrower outline and the increased rail thickness, optimize the control and speed factor. The controlled V/DCC bottom shape provides the necessary power to get going quickly, keeping you on top of things at all times.
Key Features:
- New bottom concept and power v in the tail with a good amount of release to free the board and secure it never gets stuck to the water, no matter how fast you go
- Deep double concaves (DDC or DCC – for deep control concaves) in the nose of the board, fading towards the centre. These DCC´s cut through the chop like a knife and provide 100% control no matter how fast you go.
- Reduced pintail outline - takes out surface in the tail area and boost to max speed without limits
- Slightly fuller rails, for better grip and comfort, yet with sufficient tucked under edge in front of the mast track to provide superb jibing
- The jibing performance also benefits from the reduced outline in the tail

The Super Sports are slalom-oriented BULLETS with great planing and maneuver characteristics. The 2008 boards set the standard in the sporty-freeride catagory with their innovative width to volume ratio which made them come out on top in the performance criteria in every international magazine test. For the new line, this concept was refined and easy handling in overpowered conditions was improved.
Most performance oriented riders think in board width and not so much in volume categories anymore. That is why we named the Super Sports after their volume – just like the JP Slalom boards.
SHAPE NEWS
A slightly fuller rail adds volume to the board and allowed to reduce the thickness around the center. The lower mast base position tremendously improved the top end control.
This new rail shape also makes the stance much more comfortable.
Additional buoyancy from the fuller rails improved the light wind performance.
Combined with slightly longer board lengths in the bigger sizes, the Super Sport boards are a early planing aces.
The more parallel outline in the midsection has given the boards superior straight-line control and a lower nose rocker prevents the boards from being lifted at high speed.
Additional outline curve between the footstraps allows the rider to master high speed carving jibes. Even during tight turns, the boards maintain good grip and momentum - allowing you to comfortably accelerate out of every jibe.
SUMMARY
Super fast freeride boards with an aggressive, electric feel and breathtaking acceleration – also in light winds. Now with more top-end control and further improved carving jibe abilities.
