This Severne icon has seen ongoing refinment and origression. Size by size, the power distribution along the span has been finely tuned to a consistent feel. The larger size have a lower power zones with a very even twist pattern. This creates a more uniform feel between each size - a key component of our wave design ideology. Durability is another key feature of this sail. The new full X-Ply construction features a bombproof Spectra foot panel, an upgraded KS Optic X-Ply and the Aramid reinforced Metalex II material.
DESIGN OBJECTIVE
To develop a powerful sail that is easy to control and depower at will.
The sail must be highly responsive in the waves.
The sail needs to have spring and flex that provides extra boost for maximum height and airtime.
It maintains power in lower wind range.
