2009 New Wave Twin 72,78,84
The NewWave Twin is Fanatic’s answer to the latest hype in Wave board design. After a very intensive R&D period around the world we are very proud to present our NW Twin Wave in three sizes: 72, 78 & 84. Developed 100% with our riders and for use in almost all conditions worldwide, the NW Twin aims for more than just marketing hype and a minimal range of use. Our goal is to be the best, not the first to rush to production, the extra time invested to develop this new concept only benefits wave riders, who are ready to explore a new world!
The NW Twins are designed to take wave riding to the next level. You can ride closer in the pocket of the wave than you have ever dreamed of and dig turns as deep as if you were on a surfboard. There is no section that can’t be attacked.
The NW Twin feature a new and unique design concept:
- Slightly shorter in length
- Thicker, added volume through the center of the board
- Fuller and softer rails (esp. in the nose section) more tucked under edge at 2’ off the nose.
- Narrower pointier tails
- Higher entry rocker and added tail kick, for no limit surfing/digging
- Deeper concave/double concave bottom for supporting power
- Optimized fin placement

2009 New Wave / Newwave TE 69,75,81,91
Fanatic’s and Sebastian Wenzel´s reputation in Wave board design has been built over years of innovative shapes, leading to some of the most radical, yet user-friendly Wave boards ever built. After more than 10 years of constant development of our Wave line, we have decided to let the highly tuned shapes run for 2 seasons, so the 69, 75 and 81 are the exact same shapes as the 2008 models. We have also added a new light wind machine, the NewWave 91, a no-compromise down the line board for heavier rippers and light wind addicts! A close relationship between shaper Sebastian Wenzel and our world cup wave team ensures direct feedback. The most advanced CAD software available makes it possible to analyse all the curves that work together for perfect harmony and performance.
Key Features:
- Stretched outline for ultimate control in even most hardcore conditions
- New double concave/mono concave power control bottom shape
- Super thin and tucked rails for ultimate carving and control
- Slightly increased tail width for support in critical wave sections
New is the slight double concave through the mono concave in the tail, delivering more control in choppy water and on the face of the wave.
All four sizes of 69, 75, 81 and the new 91 share similar design features using the latest CAD technology and perfectly cover the range of riders and sails for all good wave conditions worldwide.

2009 ALLWave 72, 82, 92
AllWave – the wave line especially designed to make you a better wavesailor! Today's reality is simply that 90% of our sailing time is not in perfect side-off conditions. With the AllWave´s you can enjoy a world class session in even average conditions like at your own local spot! For the 2009 line we have kept the same three sizes, after extensive R&D and positive magazine tests on the 2008 line, the shapes are still extremely competitive. We have however changed the construction and now offer the AllWave in two versions, both lighter than the previous model, in Custom Wood Sandwich and a Carbon Kevlar Sandwich Team Edition.
Key Features:
- Wider, shorter outline for compact, throw about feeling
- Mono/double concave bottom shape for ultimate speed/turning combo
- Thinner, flatter deck for stability and free feeling
- Perfectly distributed volume forgives mistakes/adds stability
Featuring three sizes - 72, 82, and 92, the AllWaves cover ALL wave conditions around the globe.
Two new constructions are available for the Allwave, the Custom Wood Sandwich construction is both resilient and light, with an unrivaled weight/value ratio! And the Team Edition version comes in a super light and exclusive Carbon Kevlar construction.

2010 Quad
The World’s first Quad fin wave boards - more drive, more traction, the ability to generate more speed on the wave face, turn closer and tighter, ride more vertical with the ability to go where you want, when you want. When going out through waves, the Quads also help you to stay upwind better than single or twin fin boards, thus positioning you to catch more waves.

2010 Kode
A decade of wave, freeride and freestyle R&D has evolved to bring you the Kodes of today. The perfect blend of speed and aggressiveness, with maximum maneuvering versatility and pure carving pleasure: for wave riding, free styling; for the side shore waves of Cabo Verde to the choppy waters and beach breaks of Mui Ne, Vietnam.
Designed by the team of Tiesda You, Svein Rasmussen, Jim Drake, Sven Akerboom, Scott McKercher, Kevin Pritchard, Boujmaa Guilloul and freestyle specialists Taty Frans, Nicolas Akgazciyan and Kiri Thode, the extensive Kode R&D team proudly introduce the 2nd generation Kodes.
At the PWA Wave event in Cabo Verde, Kevin Pritchard used a stock 2010 Kode 80 and took 3rd place overall. The best place finish for a production board since Scott’s PWA Wave title on a stock Evo in 2004.

2009 Twinser 68, 76, 84
Kauli Seadi started playing with the Twinser concept in 2006. In 2007 he dominated the PWA wave tour, defeating established wave riding legends with his aggressive, radical style. He started the 2008 season by winning the prestigious big wave event in Cabo Verde. In summer 2008 he introduces his JP Twinser Wave signature line with 3 hot models to deliver the flair, talent, innovation and all out style the two time world wave sailing champion is associated with.
Jason Polakow revolutionized performance wave sailing back in the 90s with his radical style and by developing pintail wave boards.
Kauli is now making history with his skills on the water and by initiating the new Twin Fin movement – the biggest development in wave sailing since the days when Jason’s dominance made everybody switch from asymmetrical boards to pintails.
Twin fin boards have been around before but JP Australia’s new design approach of working with much shorter board lengths and improved fin set ups will push every wave sailor to a new level.

2009 PRO WAVE 66, 73, 79
GO BIG
The JP PRO Wave boards are known for their versatility and precise powerful turning.
In 2008 we made some big changes in our design concept and got great results. The boards were our most aggressive, high performance boards to date. For 2009 we worked on further improving their performance in poor conditions, weak surf and fluky winds.
SHAPE NEWS
They still have a full length concave bottom design that combines great down the line characteristics with excellent maneuverability and snap on the wave face. When railed over in a turn the boards are snappy, precise and powerful.
With a generous single concave through the midsection there is plenty of lift for easy planing. This concave also gives great bite and high speed stability in screaming bottom turns.
We brought back a slight amount of vee in the tail. This gives the boards more stability and they have more drive off the back foot.
Because the centerline rocker is straighter over the last 60cm the boards plane earlier and go faster.
The outline is fuller in the nose and allows you to drive off the front as hard as you want with total confidence.
SUMMARY
If you liked the 2008 Pro Waves, you will love the 2009. They are smoother rail to rail and incredibly consistent in powerful turns. The biggest improvements are earlier planing, faster bottom turns and more power through the whitewater. They’re faster in flat water as well! They still offer the speed Pro Wave’s have become known for, great bite and radical cutback capability but now they work better in less than ideal conditions as well.
RIDER
Advanced wave riders who want to explore their limits, don’t want to be hold back by their board but know that they do not always sail in perfect conditions.
